About
Dr. Aaron Hurd is a graduate of the University of Texas in San Antonio, where he also earned a master's degree. He received his MD from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada followed by an internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He also completed fellowship training at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and is licensed to practice in the states of Georgia and North Carolina. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, an associate of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, as well as a recipient of the Hiram Crutchfield and Golden Apple Teaching Awards. Dr. Hurd is actively involved in aortic disease research and has presented at many recent national vascular meetings.Care Philosophy
