About
Adil Khan, MD, is a Vascular Surgeon who joined Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgical Associates, P.A., in 2019. Dr. Khan completed his fellowship in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy in 2019 at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Prior to this, he completed his residency in General Surgery in 2017 at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. During his training he served as the Administrative and Academic Chief Resident for the Department of Surgery. Before his surgical training, Dr. Khan was involved in the Cardiothoracic Research Laboratory at Emory University. There they collaborated with engineers at Georgia Tech to better understand the mechanisms of remodeling in heart muscles. He has also presented at various surgical conferences. Having recently completed his training in vascular surgery, Dr. Khan brings a wealth of fresh knowledge and technical expertise in both open surgical procedures and advanced minimally invasive endovascular therapies. He is highly motivated to provide the best care for patients with vascular disease. Dr. Khan’s area of expertise includes the medical and surgical management of:
- Leg pain/ ulcers due to peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Aneurysms of blood vessels
- Carotid artery disease to prevent strokes
