Dr. Hussain completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from Syracuse University of New York Upstate Medical University.
She continued her education at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health where she received a Master of Public Health degree. S
he stayed on at Johns Hopkins to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital. She then completed a Cardiology fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey followed by a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at NYU Langone Medical Center.
