Carlos A. Hubbard MD, PhD, is a cardiologist in the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute.

Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology, Dr. Hubbard has clinical interests that include general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, peripheral vascular disease and heart failure management.

Dr. Hubbard joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2010 from St. Thomas Heart in Nashville, Tenn. where he was a staff cardiologist. Prior to this position, he was with Southern Medical Group in Tallahassee Fla. for two years. During this period he was a clinical assistant professor at Florida State University College of Medicine.

He is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia where he also completed his internship and internal medicine residency. He served his fellowship in cardiology at Cleveland Clinic, completing it in 2007.

Dr. Hubbard has authored abstracts, professional journal articles and several chapters in medical textbooks. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Physicians.
