Biography

Deanne Barbery-Frey, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner in the Division of Vascular Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Barbery-Frey completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2008. After working in the surgical-trauma ICU at Parkland Memorial Hospital for nearly a decade, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2019. She has worked as an advanced practice provider in the division of vascular surgery since January of 2020, first at Parkland Memorial Hospital and in April of 2022 she joined the division within UT Southwestern at the Texas Health Dallas location. She has a special interest in the post-operative care of vascular surgery patients, establishing follow-up routines, and research in vascular surgery. She is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery and the Society of Vascular Nursing.
