Jacie Slocum, RDN, LD, CDCES

At the age of 12, Jacie Slocum was diagnosed with Celiac and Crohn's Disease which forced her to make some major lifestyle changes when it came to her nutrition.
Jacie learned that through a consistent, well balanced diet she was able to achieve a "normal life" and for the first time ever, she knew what it meant to feel good.
Jacie developed a passion for helping others and knew that this was the career that she needed to be in.
She started her career in Lubbock, TX as a Registered Dietitian for WIC focusing in infant, pediatric and maternal nutrition. After five years Jacie accepted a position at UMC in Lubbock where she was able to see both pediatric and adult patients. While there, she worked primarily with patients undergoing bariatric surgery and those with GI complications.
Jacie transferred to Fort Worth at the beginning of 2019, as the outpatient dietitian at Baylor Scott & White All Saints where she has a role in outpatient counseling as well as being the inpatient diabetes educator.
Her areas of expertise include weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular, and GI complications.
