Our History and Mission

Trinity Health At Home was founded in 1986 under the name Amicare Resources Inc. The organization provided comprehensive home care services in Michigan and Iowa. Between 1997 and 2002, the organization experienced many changes and an evolution in services. Today, Trinity Health At Home operations are focused on Medicare certified home health and hospice services in many states, including California, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Maryland and Ohio. The home office is located in Livonia, Michigan and provides home care and hospice operational assessments, infusion, clinical and billing support services. Trinity Health At Home is one of the largest home health and hospice programs in the nation, serving thousands of patients every year. Trinity Health At Home is a Ministry Organization of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care providers in the country.

Community Benefit

Community Benefit Ministry is any activity or assistance provided to members and/or organizations in the community at little or no charge to them. Trinity Health At Home is committed to its Community Benefit Ministry because it is a fundamental part of our Mission. We exist to serve the health needs of our communities. Examples of Community Benefit include: charity care, health fairs and clinic screenings, free community health education, donated supplies to a clinic or school, disaster planning, and serving on community boards.
