For over 35 years, Cardiology Associates of Corpus Christi has been providing cardiovascular services for the Coastal Bend.
Currently, Cardiology Associates is an eleven-cardiologist group providing both non-inva sive and invasive diagnostics and therapeutic modalities to the residents of South Texas.
The practice is the largest and oldest cardiology practice in Corpus Christi. The main office is centrally located in the Corpus Christ Medical Tower at 1521 S. Staples, with a southside location at Bay Area Medical Center and also in Kingsville. Satellite offices include Rockport, Beeville, and Alice.
Services
If your physician suspects that you have heart disease, you may need to have a cardiac catheterization, or cath. During the procedure, a catheter is inserted into a vein or artery and directed towards the heart. An x-ray dye is injected into your coronary arteries and pictures are taken. This will enable your physician to see if you have any blockages and choose the most effective treatment for you.View our slide show on cardiac catheterization.
Cardiovascular Services
To provide our patients the best level of care and treatment, Cardiology Associates of Corpus Christi offers both noninvasive and invasive procedures. Our services also include three ancillary clinics at our central location for Anti Coagulation, Congestive Heart Failure, and Rhythm Devices. In addition, Cardiology Associates of Corpus Christi is the only provider in the Coastal Bend and surrounding areas to offer Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP), a new nonsurgical treatment for chest pain.
