Southeast Texas Cardiology Associates has been providing our area and surrounding areas with comprehensive adult cardiovascular care since 1982.
Founder and board-certified, interventional cardiologist, Dr. Rodolfo Sotolongo has dedicated the last 40 years of his life to healthcare.
Although his sub specialty is in internal medicine, which he is also board certified in, his even deeper passion lies within cardiovascular medicine.

Three Areas of Focus

We specialize in heart disease, the vascular system, and venous complications.  These 3 areas of focus all play an important role in our body's overall circulation.  Without a healthy circulatory system, vital nutrients, hormones, oxygen and water can not be delivered to the cells in our bodies.  The circulatory system, itself, is made up of the heart, blood and blood vessels (arteries and veins).

Due to the critical nature along with the complexities of our circulatory systems, diseases which affect our circulation are among the leading causes of death around the world.
